Xènia Fuentes’ artistic practice centers on the exploration of duality and selfrepresentation: the encounter between the observer and the observed when both reside in the same body. Through selfportraiture and the nude, she investigates shifting boundaries of identity, intimacy, and authorship, using her body as both subject and tool to establish a silent dialogue between the one who captures and the one who is captured.
